1 <br />RESOLUTION NO. R-42-05 <br />2 <br />3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />CALIFORNIA FOR PRELIMINARY APPROVAL OF THE ENGINEER'S <br />4 REPORT FOR THE COLTON LANDSCAPE AND LIGHTING <br />MAINTENANCE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1 FOR FISCAL YEAR <br />5 2005/2006. <br />6 The City Council of the City of Colton, California (hereafter referred to as the "City Council") <br />does resolve as follows: <br />7 <br />8 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton, California, has, by previous <br />9 Resolutions, ordered the preparation of the Fiscal Year 2004/2005 Engineer's Report for the <br />10 District known and designated as the Colton Landscape and Lighting Maintenance <br />11 Assessment District No. 1 (hereafter referred to as the "District") pursuant to the provisions of <br />12 the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972, Part 2 of Division 15 of the Streets and Highways <br />13 Code of California, beginning with Section 22500 (hereafter referred to as the "Act"); and, <br />14 WHEREAS, there has not been presented to this City Council the Engineer's Report <br />15 <br />as required by Chapter 1, Article 4, Section 22566 of said Act; and, <br />16 <br />WHEREAS, this City Council has examined and reviewed the Engineer's Report as <br />17 <br />presented, and is preliminarily satisfied with the District, each and all of the budget items and <br />18 <br />19 documents as set forth therein, and is satisfied that the assessments, have been spread in <br />20 accordance with the special benefits received from the improvements, operations, <br />21 maintenance and services to be performed within each Benefit Zone of the District, as set for <br />22 in said Report. <br />23 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED, AND ORDERED BY THE <br />CITY COUNCIL FOR THE DISTRICT, AS FOLLOWS: <br />24 <br />Section 1: That the above recitals are all true and correct. <br />25 <br />26 Section 2: That the Engineer's Report as presented, consists of the following: <br />27 A Description of Improvements (Plans & Specifications). <br />28 The Annual Budget (Costs and Expenses of Services, Operations and Maintenance) <br />1 <br />
