The City of Colton also authorizes and directs that the staff of the Economic I Development Department as determined by the Economic Development Director shall be I made available in accordance with the provisions of the MOU to assist in the matters I identified therein in the preparation of the Application with respect to the Application Area. Section 3. The City of Colton recognizes that until such time as the State of ICalifornia has officially designated the Application Area for inclusion within an Enterprise I Zone, the rights, duties and obligations of the parties to the MOU shall be as set forth therein. IUpon the approval of the proposed Enterprise Zone by the State of California, the parties Iunder the MOU will then undertake discussions as to those forms of Enterprise Zone Iincentives that will be matched by a variety of local government incentives, including reduced I permit and processing fees and streamlined plan review processes and other incentives that Imay be determined at the sole discretion of each party to the MOU.
