R-133-06 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON APPROVING .A, GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT TO <br />AMEND THE LAND USE DESIGNATION OF PROPERTY <br />LOCATED AT WEST TROPICA ROAD IN THE CITY OF <br />COLTON FROM PUBLIC FACILITY TO INDUSTRIAL PARK: <br />DAP -000-507 <br />WHEREAS, Medlin Development filed an application (File No. DAP -000-507) <br />requesting an amendment to the Colton General Plan to amend the land use designation of <br />certain property located at West Tropica Rancho Road (Assessor Parcel No. 0163-351-024) <br />("Subject Site") in the City of Colton, CoUniy of San Bernardino from Public Facility to Industrial <br />Park ("Application"); and <br />WHEREAS, the Application was referred to all affected public agencies pursuant <br />to section 65352 of the Government Code; <br />kAJHEREAS, the Application vias reviewed. studied, and found to comply with the <br />California Environmental Qui, llty Act ("U ECA') as moi e fully described below; <br />WHEREAS, on SEptember 12, 2006, the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Colton ("Planning Commission") conducted a duly noticed public hearing on the Application at <br />18 1 - <br />which time all persons wishing to testify in connection with the Application were heard and the <br />I, <br />19 <br />Application was fully studied; <br />20 <br />WHEREAS, the Pianning Commission adopted a Resolution recommending <br />21 <br />approval of this amendment Ito the General Plan of they City of Colton, <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />WHEREAS. on October 3 2006 the City Council of the City of Colton ("City <br />Council") conducted a duly noticed public hearing on the Application at which time all persons <br />wishing to testify in connection with the Application were heard and the Application was fully <br />studied; and <br />occurred; <br />Wi'-IERE AS. all other legal prerequisites to the adoption of this Resolution have <br />
