Drews, Electric Utility Director <br />SUBJECT: Letter Agreement C&RE-47 <br />EQUIPMENT LOAN <br />Date: February 22, 1988 <br />.The Department is in the process of getting an infrared camera on loan from <br />the Western Area Power Administration under its C&RE Program. Such equip- <br />ment will be useful to: the Department in monitoring and/or improving energy <br />efficiency. <br />There will not be a charge to the City for use of the equipment, but the <br />City will assume liability for loss or damage. A four-year Equipment Loan <br />Agreement is required to be signed by the. Department. A copy of the <br />- Agreement is on file with the City Clerk foryouur review. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends authorization for the Electric Utility <br />Director to sign the four-year Equipment Loan Agreement with Western.
