s <br />CITY OF COLT4N <br />AGENDA REPORT (CONTINUED) <br />FOR COUNCIL MEETING OF April 5, 1988 <br />SUBJECT: TRANSFER OF FUNDS <br />FOR EXISTING CO24MUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) PROJECTS <br />2. $15,000.00 to Curb and Gutter Improvements on <br />South Fifth Street and Congress Street <br />The city has allocated $17,500.00 to providing curb and gutter <br />improvements in this area. <br />Upon implementation, it was found that the city has no design or <br />engineering standards for the area in need of improvements. The <br />additional funding would be used for this purpose as well as the actual <br />cost of construction. <br />Total allocation to the project would be $32,500.00. <br />3. $9,689.00 to Capital Improvements for <br />South La Cadena Drive Corridor <br />The city has allocated $111,253.00 for upgrading the South La Cadena <br />Drive Corridor. <br />Staff is also requesting an additional $66,833.00 from the 1988-89 <br />project allocation. <br />The total amount allocated for this project is $187,775.00. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends approval of the above transfer of CDBG funds of <br />$54,689.00 from the Contingency Account to the following: <br />1) $30,000.00 to Computerized Mapping System <br />2) $15,000.00 to Curb and Gutter Improvements for South Fifth <br />Street and Congress Streets <br />3) $9,689.00 to Capital Improvements for South La Cadena Drive <br />Corridor <br />CITY MANAGER CONCURRENCE <br />Page <br />Item No. <br />
