SECOND AMENDED AGREEMENT FOR COOPERATION BETWEEN THE <br />COLTON JOINT UNIFIED <br />SCHOOL DISTRICT, <br />THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY FOR THE <br />CITY OF COLTON AND THE <br />CITY OF COLTON <br />1. PARTIES AND DATE. <br />1.1.. This Second Amended Agreement is entered <br />into in the City of Colton, County of San Bernardino, State <br />of California, this day of Decemeber, 1987, between <br />the COLTON JOLNT UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT, a public agency <br />"District"), and the REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY FOR THE CITY OF <br />COLTON, a public body ("Agency") and the CITY OF COLTON, a <br />municipal corporation ("City"). <br />2. RECITALS. <br />2.1 Agency is undertaking a program under the <br />California Community Redevelopment Law (Health & Safety Code <br />Section 33000, et sec.)* for the redevelopment, replanning <br />and redesign of blighted areas within City with stagnant, <br />improperly utilized and unproductive land known as Santa Ana <br />River Redevelopment Project ("Project")q <br />and re uiring rede- <br />velopment in the interest of the health, safety and general <br />welfare of the people of the City of Colton. <br />2.2 The District is in receipt of Ordinance <br />No..1632 adopted by the City Council of the City of Colton, <br />California, on December 29, 1982, authorizing the redevelop <br />All subsequent references, unless otherwise noted, <br />are to the California Health & Safety Code. <br />r <br />
