Amended Agreement is on file with the Agency's Secretary. <br />Agency and District wish to amend the Agreement to further <br />facilitate cooperation of District and Agency in carrying <br />out redevelopment activities while alleviating any financial <br />burden or detriment caused to District by the Project, and <br />assisting the Agency in connection with its need to pledge <br />tax increments in order to sell its bonds. <br />2.7 District and. Agency recognize the need to <br />provide adequate public school facilities to serve the Proj- <br />ect and have determined that such facilities are.of primary <br />benefit to the Project and the immediate area in which the <br />Project is located and that there are no other reasonable <br />means of financing all such public school facilities. <br />2.8 Agency has found and determined that it <br />would be appropriate to alleviate any financial burden or <br />detriment caused to District by the Project by expanding and <br />improving public school facilities within the City of Colton <br />and by paying to District monies for the purposes described <br />herein. <br />2.9 Agency and District, in consideration of <br />these mutual undertakings, desire to settle their diffe- <br />rences, and cooperatively provide for the redevelopment of <br />certain areas of City. <br />:MC <br />
