ORDER OF PROCEDURE <br />CITY OF COLTON <br />COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 89-1 <br />(PACIFIC SUMMIT) <br />DATE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS: AUGUST 1, 1989 <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS FOR <br />CONSIDERATION: PUBLIC HEARING ON FORMATION OF COMMUNITY FACILITIES <br />DISTRICT AND AUTHORIZATION TO LEVY A SPECIAL TAX <br />PUBLIC HEARING ON AUTHORIZATION TO INCUR BONDED <br />INDEBTEDNESS TO FINANCE CERTAIN CAPITAL FACILITIES <br />MAYOR: Announce that this the time and place for two (2) public <br />hearings relating to the formation of Community Facilities <br />District No. 89-1 (Pacific Summit). These public hearings <br />relate to the formation of said District, the authorization <br />to levy a special tax and to incur a bonded indebtedness. <br />For purposes of convenience, these hearings will be consoli- <br />dated and heard as one; however, individual actions will be <br />taken where appropriate. <br />CITY CLERK: Announce that notice of the public hearings have been given <br />and that the following affidavits are on file: <br />1. Affidavit of publication of Notice of Intention to form <br />Community Facilities District and authorize special <br />tax; <br />2. Affidavit of publication of Notice of Hearing to Incur <br />Bonded Indebtedness; <br />3. Certificate of Compliance relating to mailing of <br />notice. <br />STAFF: General presentation of the following: <br />A. Boundaries of proposed Community Facilities District; <br />B. Extent of facilities proposed to be constructed; <br />C. Extent of services to be provided; <br />D. Explanation of rate and apportionment formula for <br />special tax; <br />E. Explanation on necessity to incur bonded indebtedness. <br />ALL WRITTEN PROTESTS SHOULD BE COPIED AND DELIVERED TO EACH MEMBER OF THE <br />LEGISLATIVE BODY FOR REVIEW PRIOR TO THE PUBLIC HEARING. <br />END OF STAFF REPORT - OPEN FOR PUBLIC DISCUSSION <br />3 <br />
