b. The RFP has been reviewed and the parties jointly deter - <br />1 <br />mined modifications to be made to the RFP. The parties determined <br />2 <br />the process to be used for the selection of the consultant and <br />3 <br />jointly selected the consultant to prepare the study. <br />4 <br />5 <br />3. Preparation of the Studv: <br />6 <br />The consultant selected shall prepare a study to the specifi- <br />7 <br />cation set out in a Professional Services Contract (Exhibit 8), to <br />8 <br />be entered into between the City of Rialto, acting on behalf of <br />9 <br />the participating agencies, and the Consultant. In determining the <br />10 <br />characterization of solid waste generated, and potential programs <br />11 <br />for management, the consultant and the parties shall solicit and <br />12 <br />address within the completed study input from those governmental <br />13 <br />agencies whose jurisdiction includes solid waste matters, includ- <br />14 <br />ing but not limited to, the California Integrated Waste Management <br />15 <br />Board, Environmental Health Services (LEA), the San Bernardino <br />16 <br />County Solid Waste Advisory Task Force, effected special di5- <br />17 <br />tricts, solid and liquid waste haulers and recyclers. The prepa- <br />18 <br />ration of the study shall include preparation of Environmental <br />19 <br />Review Documents. <br />20 <br />21 <br />4.
