R-88-90 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF COLTON DESIGNATING THE <br />SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY TRANSPORTATION <br />COMMISSION (SANBAG) AS THE AGENCY TO <br />DEVELOP A CONGESTION MANAGEMENT PROGRAM <br />WHEREAS, Government Code Section 65089 requires the de- <br />velopment of a congestion management program which includes the <br />County and every city in the County; and, <br />WHEREAS, Government Code section 65089 provides for the <br />County Board of Supervisors and the city councils of a majority <br />of the cities representing a majority of the population in the <br />incorporated area of the County to designate by resolution the <br />County Transportation Commission or another public agency to <br />develop a congestion management plan and perform services and <br />functions as specified by law to be performed by such designated <br />agency; and, <br />WHEREAS, the San Bernardino County Transportation Commission <br />(SANBAG) is the appropriate, public agency in the County of San <br />Bernardino to be designated under the provisions of Government <br />Code section 65089. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the <br />City of Colton hereby designates the San Bernardino County <br />Transportation Commission (SANBAG) as the agency to develop the <br />congestion management program required by Government Code <br />section 65089 and to perform the services and functions as <br />required by law for such designated agency. <br />PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 7th day of August, 1990. <br />20 ,I <br />21 <br />I <br />22 APPROVED as to form: <br />23 <br />STEPHEN EDWARDS <br />24 'i City Attorney <br />25 <br />ATTEST: <br />26 <br />27 <br />i <br />HELEN RAMOS <br />28 1City Clerk <br />FRANK A.
