Hutton, Director of Public Works <br />SUBJECT: PUBLIC HEARING FOR ENGINEER'S REPORT FOR <br />LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE DISTRICT <br />Date : June 12, 1990 <br />BACKGROUND: At the May 15, 1990 Council meeting, Council set the date of June 19, <br />1990 for a public hearing on the Landscape Maintenance District engineer's <br />report for FY90-91. <br />STAT12AENT OF THE PROBLEM: Each year the Council must adopt the engineer's report <br />in order to assess fees to property owners for landscape maintenance. NBS/Lovfry <br />has prepared the FY90-91 engineer's report on file in the City Clerk's office. <br />ALTERNATIVES: If the City does not adopt the engineer's report, fees cannot <br />collected. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: The City will receive funds for the maintenance of the Landscape <br />Maintenance District for FY90-91. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL INTACT: Without the assessed fees for the Landscape Maintenance <br />District the areas within the District will become unkept. <br />RECOMN014DATION: Staff recommends that.at the conclusion of the public hearing, if <br />no protests have been submitted concerning the engineer's report or the levying of <br />assessments, that Council approve the engineer's report and adopt the attached <br />Resolution approving the engineer's report. <br />/ 1 j <br />CITY NMAGER'S CONCURRENCE.L� <br />Attachments: 1 OR'GINIAL <br />-:'ITRAL RECORDS <br />Page 1 of ------ RLA q% A C)L� Item No. ;2,5 <br />�A-Au ----------- ....... 6� <br />
