During the focus gmup, employees requested information <br />on carpooling procedures for employees who work overtime or encounter emergency situations. <br />Since 329b of the survey r�spondents work late managing these issues is one of the primary <br />objectives addressed for the Corporate Yard site. <br />Ir� summary, the employee focus groups revealed that convenience and time spent commuting <br />were the factors considered most important to their selection of a commute mode. <br />During the management focus group interest was expressed in rideshare prizes, new hire <br />orientation, guaranteed ride home, and transit subsidies. <br />An analysis of the management and employee survey data and focus groups revealed that the <br />following incentives are desirable and feasible to implement: <br />■ <br />■ <br />■ <br />■ <br />■ <br />■ <br />■ <br />■ <br />Implementadon of 4/40 compressed work week <br />Development of a Commuter Assistance Office <br />Distribuaon of matchlists <br />Distribution of information on commute options <br />Awards and recognidon for ridesharers <br />Bus pass subsidies and on-site pass sales <br />Guaranteed ride home <br />Establish and develop a ridesharing element of the new hire orientation program <br />13 <br />� <br />; <br />; <br />� <br />t <br />
