r <br />r <br />INTRODUCTION <br />rThe City of Colton has a population of 37,000 and is located in the middle <br />�n San Bernardino County. Colton is 2.5 miles west of the City of San Bernardin�d 4 mPiles <br />� north of Riverside. A comprehensive network of three interstate highways, truck routes and <br />continental railroads prov�de convenient access to the City. A fourth highway I-15 joining the <br />Inland Empire and San Diego is west of Colton. The City of Colton is also 24 miles from <br />� Ontario airport. _ <br />Currendy, the City of Colton has two sites with more than 100 employees: The Civic Cencer <br />� and the Corporate Yazds. Approximately 40�0 of Colton's work foroe is located at the <br />Corporate Yard site. In compliance with Regulation XV re�quiremeats, a separate plan is being <br />filed for the Civic Center site; however for practical purposes both Tran <br />� Management (TDM) plans are being submittsd to the South Coast qu �°�tion Demand <br />District concurrendy. Q�itY M�agement <br />� <br />� <br />� <br />lfiis TDM plan specifically focuses on achieving a 1.5 AVR at the City of Colton's Corporate <br />Yazd site. To prepare ihis plan che City of Colton contracted for technical assistance from <br />Ekistic Mobility Consultants. <br />The format of this documentation will follow the SCAQMD plan guidelines. <br />
