CirY )
Of
aRAND TERRA(,
The Honorable Mayor Gonzales and Councilmembers
City of Colton
650 N. La Cadena Dr.
Colton, CA 92324
Dear Mayor Gonzales and Councilmembers:
Once again the City of Grand Terrace will be sponsoring it's
5th Annual
Tour de Terrace on Sunday, October 7,
1990. Tour de
Terrace is
a tour (not
a race) and will tour various parts of
Colton, Grand
Terrace,
Loma Linda,
Redlands, and Yucaipa. The route is
the same route
used in
the previous
four years and has been previously
discussed with
the various police
departments whose jurisdictions we cross.
At this time, I would like to ask that the 5th Annual Tour de Terrace have
permission to tour your City (see enclosed map). As in . past years, I will
notify the public safety directors of - the respected areas for their
comments, input, and approval. Also, as in past years, the City of Grand
Terrace will mark the tour with non permanent marking paint as well as
provide a clean-up crew which will follow the entire route for clean up
when the tour is finished.
Every effort will be made to provide a safe course for the bikers while
minimizing any inconvenience to the residents and businesses in your area.
I appreciate your consideration of this request and look forward to a
positive response. If you have any further questions, please feel free to
contact me at (714) 824-6621.
Sincerely,
Karen Gerber
Recreation Supervisor
2279 Barton Road s Grand Tcrracc.
