Cities/Colton February 25, 1991 <br />Ceche Canyon Rd. <br />FROM: TIM KELLY, Director <br />Real Estate Services <br />SUBJECT: SALE OF FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT PROPERTY IN COLTON <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />1. Acting as the governing body of the San Bernardino County Flood Control <br />District, adopt Resolution No. 91-56 determining the Flood Control <br />District Zone 2 property, Reche Canyon Parcel 74, a portion of APN 164- <br />231-24 (0.21± acre - SPF -0429U), is no longer necessary to be retained for <br />the uses and purposes of the Flood Control District-. <br />2. Authorize execution of the deed in accordance with Government Code <br />Section 25365 conveying the parcel to the city of Colton at the appraised <br />value of $500. <br />BACKGROUND: <br />This 10 -foot (more or less) wide parcel is located on the west side of Reche <br />Canyon Road, south of Barton Road. The city of Colton needs this strip of land <br />for the widening of Reche Canyon Road. <br />REASON FOR RECOMMENDATION: <br />Board of Supervisors approval is required to proceed with the sale. <br />REVIEW BY OTHERS: <br />This agenda item has been reviewed by the Flood Control District, and approved <br />as to legal form by Charles S.
