1 RESOLUTION NO. <br />2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF COLTON DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />3 AND AUTHORIZING THE REPAIR OF THE SEWER <br />MAINS FOR OLIVE ST. AND 10TH ST. ALLEY <br />4 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton <br />5 eclares that the repair of the sewer mains for Olive Street <br />6 and 10th St. alley between "F" and "G" to be an emergency; and, <br />7 WHEREAS, the State Government Code, Section 20168 <br />8 allows for emergency work to be done to safeguard the life, <br />9 health, or property of the public. <br />10 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council <br />11 waives the bid processing procedure for the immediate repair of <br />12 he sewer mains for Olive St. and 10th St. alley in order to <br />13 safeguard the life, health and property of the public. <br />14 PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 28th day of May, <br />15 991. <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 PPROVI <br />20 <br />21 TEPHEN W.
