Hutton, Director of Public Work0or <br />SUBJECT: Approval of Annual Encroachment Permit Date: February 10, 1992 <br />Hernandez Trucking Company <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Daniel Hernandez Trucking has an exclusive contract with Montecito Cemetery to haul <br />dirt material on a project by project basis. <br />nTS('lNSTC I_ <br />Since the majority of the projects that Mr. Hernandez obtains are on an on call basis, <br />it is necessary to have the material available as quickly as possible to meet the <br />needs of the customer. For this reason, Mr. Hernandez is requesting the City to <br />consider an annual encroachment permit agreeing to the terms and condition under the <br />previous permit with a stipulation to notify the City 72 hours in advance of removal <br />of materials from the site. <br />Montecito has obtained the grading permits form Community Development, and with the <br />with meeting the required terms of the encroachment permit is ready to haul materials. <br />The Traffic Committee has approved the encroachment permit per the attached <br />permit conditions. <br />FISCAL IMPACT: <br />None, any street deterioration or damage will be covered with the $10,000.00 bond. <br />RECO WNDATION: <br />Staff recommends that Council approve the attached annual encroachment permit for <br />Hernandez Trucking Company and the conditions set forth on the permit. <br />JCH/lj <br />CITY ~GER'S CONCURRENCE: <br />Attachments: 1 <br />Page 1 of Item No. <br />CENTRAL RECORDS <br />FILE NO...: : -6. .. .............g2- <br />
