9. The DISTRICT shall indemnify and save the CITY free and <br />harmless of and from any and all costs, expenses, claims, demands, <br />suits, actions, or judgments made, brought, or recovered against <br />the CITY and the City Council, or any officer or employee of the <br />City of Colton, for personal injuries, death, or property damage <br />including the property of the CITY, resulting from any negligent <br />act or omission of the DISTRICT, its officers, agents, or employees <br />in connection with the performance of this Agreement.
