Fork Channels: <br />The lifting channels shall be 11ga - 4" wide x 8" high x full <br />width of end panels. Channels are to be mounted flush front and <br />rear as high as possible. Each end of channels are to be rein- <br />forced with boxed gussets and straps and center gussets top and <br />bottom. A 21Ix2"x3/16" angle bumper x 8" high shall be installed <br />at the 4 channel entries. <br />Casters: <br />Casters shall be 6" diameter at 900# capacity. Wheels shall <br />be cast iron spoke with mold on rubber. Each caster shall <br />have 2 zerk fittings. One for lubrication of the swivel race <br />and the other for the axle shaft. City reference: Albion <br />16 series. <br />Caster Plates: <br />Standard type made of 10ga steel (triangular type). Caster <br />and caster plates are to be continously welded to container. <br />Dimensions: <br />See attached. <br />Finish: <br />Container shall be cleaned of all grease, oil, dirt and weld <br />splatter. All sharp edges ground.., prior to painting. The <br />interior shall be coated with automotive underseal. The <br />exterior shall be painted with high gloss alkyd enamel with <br />standard color designated by the City. <br />Each container shall be indentified with manufacturers name <br />and a registered serial number shall be securely attached in <br />a conspicuous location on each container. <br />The letters CC and serial number supplied by the City such as: <br />CC 100-82 to CC 114-82 (for year purchased) shall be welded <br />in 4" letters at top right rear of container. <br />Warranty: . <br />Warranty against defects in materials or workmanship, shall <br />be for a minimum period of one year from date of delivery. <br />specs updated 10-10-85 <br />I <br />
