CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />For Council Meeting of June 16, 1992 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />c� <br />FROM: Jack S;Y eterim Director of Public Utilities <br />Approval of Change Orders to Contracts with Krieger Date' June 9, 1992 <br />SUBJECT: and Stewart for Engineering Services for FY91-92; <br />and for Engineering Contract Administration for the <br />FY90 91 Wastewater Treatment Plant Replacement Facilities <br />1-T-34 TRTCWT 1 "01 <br />Engineering Services -- <br />The previous City Manager, Leslie Stratton, <br />Stewart for engineering consulting services <br />for FY91-92 in the amount of $190,000 during <br />1991. <br />Wastewater Treatment Plant -- <br />approved the contract with Krieger and <br />for the Water Quality Control programs <br />the preliminary budget review in June, <br />In FY90-91 Council awarded a contract for the replacement of equipment at the Water <br />Quality Control Plant, and approved Krieger and Stewart as design engineers and <br />contract administrators for the project. The approved cost for Krieger and Stewart's <br />services was $90,000. Since that time two change orders have been issued, totaling <br />$31,650. <br />DISCUSSION; <br />Engineering Services -- <br />The contract for consulting services for the Water Quality Control programs for <br />FY91-92 will exceed the contract in the amount of $30,000. Krieger and Stewart has <br />submitted a request for a change order in the amount of $30,000 (see attached) out- <br />lining the additional programs they have been working on since the original proposal <br />for engineering services was submitted in May, 1991. <br />Attachments: 2 <br />Page 1 ofd <br />Item No. 43 0— <br />
