Box 1738 <br />Topeka, Kansas 66601-1738 <br />01 <br />01-19 <br />Referring to your request to construct an overhead 12 KV electric transmission line across <br />Santa Fe's right-of-way at Milepost 2+1979, at Olive Street in Colton, California, as identified <br />by our Exhibit No. 1-01812. <br />Enclosed, in duplicate, is Santa Fe's standard license agreement covering your proposed <br />installation. This agreement should be executed by an authorized party on behalf of the City and <br />the original counterpart (stamped "Santa Fe Original") returned to the undersigned, together with <br />remittance of the $150.00 consideration specified therein. The City may retain the duplicate <br />counterpart for their records. <br />When you have executed and returned this license, it will be satisfactory to make the installation; <br />however, you should contact Santa Fe's Inspector Paul Renteria at San Bernardino, California, <br />telephone (714) 386-4075, at least five days in advance of your anticipated construction in order <br />that he may provide any necessary flagging protection, inspection and supervision. It will also be <br />necessary that your contractor or construction crew have in its possession a fully -executed copy <br />of the enclosed agreement or satisfactory evidence from our inspector that they have permission <br />to be on our right-of-way to make the installation. In view of possible prior commitments of our <br />inspector, there may be occasions when inspection cannot be scheduled within the five-day period <br />and the installation will have to be delayed in these unusual instances. For your further <br />information, should you be unable to contact our inspector during normal business hours, please <br />leave a message on his telephone answering device and he will return your call as soon as possible. <br />If you have any questions concerning this matter, please contact Jack Dick, telephone <br />(913) 357-2228. <br />Sincerely, <br />L.
