EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT <br />THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this �1 day of <br />'(`M` -'``L , 1992, by and between the CITY OF COLTON, a <br />municipal corporation (hereinafter referred to as "City"), and <br />MARK LEWIS (hereinafter referred to as "Employee"). <br />SECTION 1. DUTIES <br />City engaged Mark Lewis as City Manager of the City to perform the <br />functions and duties specified in the Municipal Code, and to <br />perform such other legally permissible and proper duties and <br />functions as the City Council shall from time -to -time assign. <br />SECTION 2. TERM OF EMPLOYMENT <br />A. Nothing in this Agreement shall prevent, limit, or otherwise <br />interfere with the right of the City Council to terminate the <br />services of Employee at any time, subject only to the <br />provisions set forth in Section 3 of the this Agreement. <br />B. Employee agrees to remain in the exclusive employ of the City <br />until May 15, 1994, which will be the term of employment, and <br />neither to accept other employment, nor to become employed by <br />any other employer until said termination date, unless said <br />term of employment is affected as hereinafter provided.
