The
transmission shall be rated to sufficiently use the
available engine power to the aerator. The pump shall
be not less than 1 cu. in displacement and the motor
shall be at least 18 cu. in displacement.
The transmission shall provide for bi-directional
rotation (forward and reverse).
The hydraulic motor shall be directly coupled to the
aerator rotating unit by means of a flexible, elastomer
type coupling to provide for misalignment take-up and
vibration dampening. Chain drive to the aerator unit as
a means of providing rotation power will not be allowed.
Hydraulics, Primary and Auxiliary:
The primary transmission and auxiliary circuit pump
shall be open center, open loop type system capable of
supplying at least 15.4 GPM at relief setting of 2250
PSI. It shall provide, in addition to implement drive,
tilting functions. The hydraulic reservoir shall be
sealed type with 5 lbs. atmospheric charge and internal
outlet 100 mesh screens.
Electrical System:
The fused electrical system shall have a 12 volt
negative ground system with charging alternator, a 12
volt starter, 7L battery with minimum CID power rating
of 155 amps, instruments, or lights to monitor engine
low oil pressure.
