RAMOS .i <br />City Clerk <br />SUBJECT: AMENDMENT TO CITY OF COLTON <br />CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODES <br />BACKGROUND• <br />November 17, 1992 <br />Date: <br />11-12-92 <br />In 1990 Government Code Section 87306.5 was added to the Political <br />Reform Act requiring the local agencies' review body, i. e., City <br />Councils, Board of Supervisors, etc., to notify every local government <br />agency within its jurisdiction to review its code and either amend the <br />code or submit a report no later than October 1 of each even -numbered <br />year advising that no change is necessary. <br />The City Council is the Code Reviewing Body for all City designated <br />positions and for certain Boards and Commissions. <br />DISCUSSION• <br />The City Clerk's staff prepared the attached Notice which was forwarded <br />to all City Departments. With all departments having responded, the <br />necessary modifications, having to do with deletions/additions of <br />positions, Boards and Commissions, were compiled and are contained in <br />Appendix A which is attached to this report.
