-
-le2700- nP
1320
July 6, 1992
Mr. Ray Aranda, Precinct Planner
County of San Bernardino
Registrar of Voters
777 E. Rialto Avenue
San Bernardino, CA 92415-0770
Dear Mr. Aranda:
This letter will serve to clarify the City's response to your question
regarding parcel number 276-361-78, as it relates to the districting
proposal. As you discovered, the parcel is split between Districts Five
and Six, the majority of the parcel being in District Five.
Per your request, it is necessary that the entire parcel be located in one
single district and it is necessary that the City make the decision as to
which district the parcel should be assigned.
From a practical point of view, it seems that the entire parcel should be
located into District Five for the following reasons:
A) As the current boundary exists, the majority of the parcel is in
District Five.
B) As the current boundary exists, the majority of the population,
within the parcel, is in District Five.
Please note that parcel number 276-361-65 will need to be included in
District Five also. See the attached map for clarification of boundary.
If my staff
contact Mr.
370-5079.
may be of further assistance, please do not hesitate to
Jaime Aguilera, Community Development Director, at (714)
Sincerely,
OF
MARK LENTIS
CITY MANAGER
Attachment
cc: Community Development Department
City Clerk
COLTON
I N L A N D E M P I R E
CITY COUNCIL
Frank A.
