EXHIBIT "A" <br />POLICY No. 25 <br />COMMERCIAL LIGHTING REBATE PROGRAM <br />AVAILABILITY <br />Page No. <br />The commercial lighting rebate program will be available to any Utility Customer being <br />billed on the Utility's General Service Rate Schedule (G-1) or Large General Service Rate <br />Schedule (G-2). <br />APPLICABILITY <br />The commercial lighting rebate program will be applicable to all lighting measures which <br />occur inside an existing building and include the following actions: <br />1. Efficient fluorescent - conversion of standard or energy saver T-12 lamps to <br />T-8 tri -phosphor lamps, lamp change must a accompanied with ballast change to <br />electronic ballast. <br />2. Optical reflector - installation of fixtures or reflectors that result in a <br />permanent delamping of existing fluorescent lamps. <br />3. Electronic ballast - conversion of magnetic fluorescent ballasts to high <br />efficiency electronic ballasts which must be UL listed <br />4. Compact fluorescent - replacement of incandescent lamps with permanently <br />(hard -wired) installed compact fluorescent ballasts and lamps, or replacement <br />of incandescent fixtures with compact fluorescent fixtures <br />f <br />5. Other permanent lighting modifications where the Customer is required to make <br />a financial investment and which result in a permanent reduction in kW demand <br />of existing lighting. This does not include delamping where no purchase of <br />energy saving material or equipment occurs. <br />REBATE AMOUNT <br />A. Maximum commercial lighting rebate amounts are $200.00 per kW of lighting load <br />reduction. The rebate will not exceed thirty percent (30%)of, the total material and <br />equipment cost of the lighting measure(s). <br />B. No commercial Customer may receive more than $5,000 in rebates in any one fiscal year. <br />PROGRAM DESCRIPTION <br />A. The Utility solely retains the right to determine Customer and project eligibility. <br />B. The Utility reserves the right to request specific manufacturer specifications and <br />data. <br />C. The Utility reserves the right to periodically review and modify the program. <br />D. Rebates will not be allowed for lighting modifications which increase existing <br />lighting load. <br />ISSUED BY <br />Gale A.
