CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT (Continued) <br />FOR COUNCIL MEETING OF AUGUST 16, 1994 <br />SUBJECT: AUTHORIZATION FOR OUT-OF-STATE TRAVEL TO ATTEND <br />THE AMERICAN PUBLIC POWER ASSOCIATION <br />ACCOUNTING, FINANCE, RATE, AND INFORMATION <br />SYSTEMS WORKSHOP <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT <br />The cost to have one employee attend this workshop would be approximately $1,290. Because this <br />meeting is considered extremely important to the Electric Utility, it was specifically included in the <br />FY 1994-1995 operating budget and funding has been accounted for in the Administrative <br />Division. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />There are no environmental impacts as a result of this action. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends that the City Council authorize the Electric Utility to send a representative to the <br />American Public Power Association Accounting, Finance, Rates, and Information Systems <br />Workshop in Scottsdale, Arizona, during September 27, 28, and 29, 1994. <br />City Manager's Concurrence: <br />REPORT PREPARED BY THOMAS K.
