Proposals for the Purchase of Bond - s. Sealed <br />proposals for the purchase of the Bonds shall be received by the <br />Director or the Treasurer at the date, time and place provided for in <br />a Notice Inviting Bids for the Bonds or at such other dates and times <br />as shall be determined by the Director or the Treasurer. <br />SECTION 2. Notice Inviting Bids. Each of the Director and <br />the Treasurer is hereby authorized to approve a Notice Inviting Bids <br />for the Bonds (such approval to be conclusively evidenced by the <br />distribution thereof). The City Clerk is hereby authorized and <br />directed to cause the Notice Inviting Bids for the Bonds to be <br />distributed to prospective bidders for the Bonds upon their request. <br />SECTION 3. Notice of Intention to Sell Bonds. Each of the <br />Director and the Treasurer is hereby authorized to approve a Notice of <br />Intention to Sell Bonds (such approval to be conclusively evidenced by <br />the publication thereof). The City Clerk is hereby authorized and <br />directed to cause the Notice of Intention to Sell Bonds to be <br />distributed to prospective bidders for the Bonds upon their request. <br />The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause such notice <br />to be published once, at least fifteen (15) days prior to the earliest <br />date for receiving proposals stated therein, in The Bond Buyer, a <br />financial publication circulated throughout California, with such <br />changes, insertions and omissions as the Director, the Treasurer or <br />the City Clerk shall approve, such approval to be conclusively <br />2 <br />
