R- ._94 <br />3 <br />_ <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF - <br />4 <br />THE CITY OF COLTON DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />j <br />AND AUTHORIZING THE REPAIR OF WELL #16 <br />5 <br />6 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton declares <br />-7 <br />that the repair of Well #16 to be an emergency; and, <br />8 <br />WHEREAS, the State Government Code, Section 20168 <br />9 <br />allows for emergency work to be done to safeguard the i <br />9 life, <br />10 10 <br />, <br />health or property of the public. <br />11 <br />12 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council <br />13 <br />waives the bid processing procedure for the immediate repair of <br />14 <br />Well #16 in order to safeguard the life, health and property of the <br />15 <br />public. <br />16 <br />PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 15th day of <br />17 <br />February, 1994. <br />18 <br />.19 <br />- 20 <br />21 <br />FRANK A.
