Since the adoption of t�e City Budget in August, staff has moved fonvard in obtaining s�iec�cations and cost estimates on the equipment necessary to televise Council meetings. Addidona�ly, staff has contacted a J' video production professional to,inquire into the feasibility and cost of contrac�ing out for video production services. , DISCUSSI�N: GeneraI LTnder its pr�sent Franchise:Agreement, TCI Cablevision of California, agrees� to provide a full-time public-access government channel. Colton shall possess the right and technic� ability to preempt, upon reasonable notice,. progra�nming at any time and assert its awn programuling , y w�y of thexeverse link from Gity;Ha�ll. Under the pr.esent F'ranchise Agreement, TCI Ca6levision has no obligation to provide a public access or local originatio� studio.
