CLOUD <br />Acting Finance Director <br />SUBJECT: Award of Bid to San Diego Rotary Broom Co., Inc. for Sweeper Brooms and Spare Parts for <br />the Period July 1, 1994 through June 30, 1995, with an Option to Renew for One Additional <br />Year <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The City solicits competitive bids to cover annual requirements for street sweeper brooms and miscellaneous <br />spare replacement parts on an "as required" basis. On June 16, 1994, General Services posted a Notice <br />Inviting Bids for these requirements. Bid opening was held at 3:00 p.m., June 27, 1994, in the General <br />Services office. One bid was received from San Diego Rotary Broom Co., Inc. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />These requirements are budgeted in routine maintenance accounts for the Street Division. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends bid award for these requirements to San Diego Rotary Broom Co., for the period July 1, <br />1994 through June 30, 1995, with an option to renew for one additional year. <br />Report Prepared by: Mary J.
