CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT (CONTINUED) <br />FOR COUNCIL MEETING OF JUNE 8, 1994 <br />SUBJECT: Urgency Ordinance Amending Urgency Ordinance No. 0-05-94 <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Based on the above analysis, staff recommends the following action: <br />1) Authorize and direct City Staff to develop a grading ordinance which <br />includes rigid requirements for monitoring by city forces of in- <br />spections and testing by professional engineers of the private sector <br />and designates a "Grading Official" who will ensure all grading <br />(on-site and off-site) complies with City of Colton ordinances; <br />2) All future development tracts in the area subject to the moratorium <br />now in place shall be required to provide for an independent <br />engineering evaluation of the possible causes and mitigation of the <br />soils conditions on Wild Canyon Drive, Canyon Vista Drive, and other <br />impacted areas; <br />3) Lift the building moratorium on all currently approved tracts in the <br />area subject to the moratorium except tract #13362.
