CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />For Council Meeting of March 15. 1994 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />FROM: Robert A. Lavin, Water Utilities Manager <br />SUBJECT: Date: <br />Acceptance of FY92-93 WQC Plant Upgrade of Facilities <br />Project as 100% Complete and Authorize the Filing of <br />e o ice o omp a ion <br />BACKGROUND: <br />On January 19, 1993 Council awarded a contract to Pascal & Ludwig Engineers for <br />the WQC Plant Upgrade of Facilities per the Regional Water Quality Control Board. <br />The work included the installation of: 1) an electric motor to replace a gas engine. <br />2) an emergency standby pump. 3) an emergency generator to operate the plant. <br />DISCUSSION: <br />All of the work has been completed per the specifications and approved by the <br />Regional Water Quality Control Board. The consulting engineers on the project are <br />recommending that the project be accepted as 100% complete. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that Council accept the project as 100% complete and authorize <br />the filing of the notice of completion. <br />LJ/I j <br />,a <br />CITY MANAGER'S CONCURRENCE: l <br />Attachments: <br />1 Al <br />Page 1 of__ — Item No._ <br />
