The adjusted <br />Contract amount for same is set forth as follows: <br />Amount <br />Original Contract <br />$436,100.00 <br />Contract Change Order No. 1 <br />$551.62 <br />Contract Change Order No. 2 <br />$0.00 <br />Contract Change Order No. 3 <br /><$800.00> <br />$435,851.62 <br />Contract Change Order No. 1 is attributable to replacement of unsuitable subgrade material beneath <br />the proposed emergency standby generator foundation slab, deletion of the Contract requirement for <br />unloading three (3) Owner furnished air blower discharge silencers, and extension of the Contract <br />Completion Date by one (1) day. Contract Change Order No. 2 is attributable to extension of <br />Contract time due to delays encountered in energizing the new 600A electrical service panel for <br />subject project. Contract Change Order No. 3 is attributable to deletion of the Contract requirement <br />for a second intermediate coat of paint for the Influent Lift Station Standby Pump discharge piping <br />and substitution of two (2) painted pipe supports in lieu of galvanized supports for said discharge <br />piping. <br />Project facilities were operational on October 28, 1993. However, completion of all Contract Work, <br />including remedial work, did not occur until February 10, 1994. The adjusted Contract Completion <br />Date for subject project is November 23, 1993. Contract Documents stipulate that liquidated <br />damages of $500.00 per calendar day may be assessed for each of the seventy-nine (79) days the <br />Contract Work remained incomplete. <br />On February 4, 1994, we requested that the Contractor provide written justification for completing <br />the Contract Work after the Contract Completion Date.
