AGENDA REPORT <br />City Council Meeting <br />April 27, 1994 <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Based upon the legal opinion of Brunick, Alvarez & Battersby, it is the recommendation <br />of the City Attorney that the second reading of Ordinance No. 0-08-94 be approved and that the <br />ordinance apply only to individuals hired into positions newly excluded from civil service <br />protection by the ordinance only after the ordinance takes effect under the law. In order to <br />clarify that issue, minor changes have been made to the language of the original ordinance <br />submitted to the City Council. <br />Concu�rence: <br />City Manager <br />
