R-56-94 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />CITY COUNCIL APPROVING THE APPLICANT'8 <br />APPEAL OF THE PLANNING COMMI33ION�3 <br />DECISION TO DENY FILE INDEX NUMBER <br />DC-54-93. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Colton did <br />hold a public hearing for File Index Number DCV-54-93 on February <br />22, 1994; and <br />WHEREA3, the Planning Commission did deny said appli�ation <br />because it was found to not meet the criteria set forth by the <br />Zoning Ordinance for the granting of conditional use permits and <br />variances and where the proposed project was found not to be <br />compatible with it surroundings; and <br />WHEREAS, the applicant has appealed said decision within the <br />required time frame; and <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Colton that the f inding and decision of the Planning Commission <br />were incorrect. Be it further resolved that the City Council <br />hereby overturns said f inding and decision and thereby approves <br />the applicant's appeal, subject to the conditions of approval of <br />File Index Number DCV-54-93 and further directs staff to prepare a <br />Negative Declaration. <br />PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of May, 1994. <br />ATTEST: <br />HELEN A.
