Gonzales <br />Mayor of �olt�n <br />650 North La (�adena Drive <br />Colton, CA 92,324 <br />Dear Mr. (son�ales: � <br />Subject: San Tuan Unit 3 Sunnlemental A�reement <br />As requested by the City of Colton ("City"), Southern California Edison Company <br />("Edison") agrees to begin service under the 1995 Supplemental Agreement between <br />Southern C:alifornia Edison Company and City of Colton for the Integration of <br />Colton's Entitlement in San Juan Unit 3 and the Edison-Colton 1995 San Juan <br />Unit 3 Firin T�ansmission Service Agreement Between Southern California Edison <br />Company and City of Colton (the "Agreements") on the later of January 1, 1995, or <br />on the day� fol�owing filing of the Agreements with the Federal Regulatory <br />Commissic�n ("FERC"), subject to the conditions stated . herein. Terms used herein <br />with initial capitalization which are not otherwise defined shall have the meanings <br />assigned tc� them in the 1990 Integrated Operations Agreement between City and <br />Edison (the "1'990 IOA"). <br />If the Federal :Energy Regulatory Commission ("FERC") does not allow the <br />Agreemen�s to become effective on or before the date upon which service is actually <br />commenced, then for the period between the date of commencement of service and <br />either (i) the ef�fective date of the Agreements or (ii) the date on which the parties <br />hereto recE�ive notice that the Agreements will not be made effective, the following <br />provisions shall apply. <br />1. Transmission Service Char�es <br />For each hour in which Edison schedules San Juan Unit 3 energy into its <br />Control Area and City schedules San Juan Unit 3 energy on its Resource <br />Acc��unting Schedule, City shall pay Edison a transmission service charge <br />under the Conformed Western Systems Power Pool ("WSPP") Agreement <br />
