HUTTON <br />Public Works Director <br />SUBJECT: AUTHORIZE INSTALLATION OF STOP SIGN ON 'M' STREET AT <br />9TH STREET PER TRAFFIC COMMITTEE RECONVENDATION <br />The intersection of 9th and ' M' Street is presently controlled <br />by stop signs for the north and South bound traf f 1c. The East <br />West direction has a severe dip section, due to the Southern <br />Pacific Railroad Track running along the centerline of 9th <br />Street <br />This issue was discussed at the October 5, 1994 Traffic <br />Committee Meeting, it was determined that a East-West Stop <br />Sign would decrease the chance of an accident at this <br />intersection. <br />k' i � *�' _V!���!! 4Q <br />Staff recommends Council authorize the installation of Stop <br />Sign at this intersection. <br />Concurrence: <br />ITEML_/ <br />
