The City Council finds and determines that Cesar Chavez, organizer and <br />former president of the United Farm Workers of California, has made an exceptional <br />contribution to his community and to the residents of the City of Colton, and that, in accord with <br />the provisions of Resolution R -116A-93, it is appropriate to name a City park after Cesar <br />Chavez in honor of his personal leadership and the example of strength of character and integrity <br />that he has set for members of this community. <br />Section 2.
