<br />Ordinance No. 1458.
<br />City Attorney Hutton introduced Ordinance No. 1458 for second reading, reading it as to number
<br />and title only:
<br />ORDINANCE NO. 1458 - AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 413, BUSINESS LICENSE.
<br />City Attorney Hutton advised this ordinance is a companion ordinance to Ordinance No. 1457,
<br />and could be handled in the same manner.
<br />On motion of Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilman Hayes and unanimously passed, Ordinance
<br />No. 1458 was tabled.
<br />Mr. Earl Young stated that this ordinance will be rewritten, and presented to Council again
<br />at a later date.
<br />Ordinance No. 1460.
<br />City Attorney Hutton introduced Ordinance No. 1460 for first reading, reading it as to number
<br />and title:
<br />ORDINANCE NO. 1460 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COLTON AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1266, SALARY
<br />OF THE MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL.
<br />On motion of Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilwoman Spragins and unanimously passed,
<br />first reading of Ordinance No. 1460 was approved, and further reading waived.
<br />Ordinance No. 1461.
<br />City Attorney Hutton introduced Ordinance No. 1461 for first reading, reading it as to number
<br />and title:
<br />ORDINANCE NO. 1461 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COLTON AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1266, SALARY OF
<br />THE MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL.
<br />On motion of Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilman Hayes and unanimously passed, first
<br />reading of Ordinance No. 1461 was approved, and further reading waived.
<br />ORAL COMMUNICATIONS:
<br />Councilwoman Spragins stated she had visited the new camera shop in town, Colton Camera and
<br />Instrument Shop, operated by Mr. Daniel J. Jagt, and located at 600 East Valley Boulevard.
<br />Mrs. Spragins said that Mr. Jagt has new and used equipment and an excellent repair service,
<br />and urged everyone to visit the new store.
<br />Councilman Rehrer said he would like to thank each and every person that attneded the Council
<br />meeting this evening, showing their concern and interest about what is going on in their town,
<br />and also for the many, many letters he has received.
<br />ADJOURNMENT:
<br />With no further business to come before the Council at this time, on motion of Councilman Rehrer,
<br />seconded by Councilman Gonzales and unanimously passed, Mayor Huntoon adjourned the meeting at
<br />8:08 p. m., to meet for an Adjourned Regular Meeting on Thursday, June 20, 1974, at 7:00 p. m.,
<br />in the Council Chambers of City Hall.

<br />In accordance with notice duly and legally given, an Adjounred Regular Meeting of the City
<br />Council of the City of Colton was held on the above given date at 7:00 p. m., in the Council
<br />Conference Room in City Hall, Mayor Huntoon presiding.
<br />ROLL CALL:
<br />Council members present were Huntoon, Spragins, Rehrer*, Gonzales*, and Mayor Huntoon. Also
<br />present were City Manager Huffaker, Finance Director McGuire, Planning Director Williams, City
<br />Librarian Hornburg, Building and Safety Director Twiss, Electrical Superintendent Preece,
<br />Cemetery Staff Mr. Castorena and Mrs. Shanks, Parks Superintendent Castorena, Recreation
<br />Supervisor Lofy, Water Superintendent Trusty, Administrative Analyst Norris, and City Clerk
<br />Ramos.
<br />*Councilmen Gonzales and Rehrer entered the meeting room at 7:12 p. m. and 7:22 p. m. respective-
<br />ly.
