<br />Seismic Safety Element
<br />Planning Director Williams referred to the report entitled Seismic Safety Element, stating this element of the General
<br />Plan deals with seismic and associated geologic hazards in the General Plan area, which includes fault rupture,
<br />ground failure, earthquake shaking, landsliding, subsidence and erosion.
<br />Comments on the Seismic Safety Element were made from Mr. Wilson Ritchie, 168 West B Street, and Ralph Ybarra,
<br />11845 Glenwood, Colton.

<br />City Manager Huffaker referred to letters dated February 5, and February 18, 19 75 , from Ruby F. Wicker, Executive
<br />Director of American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, Local 122, regarding employee represen-
<br />tation and presentation before the City Council, and also a request that the matter be tabled until the next regular
<br />Council meeting.

<br />regular Council Meeting. Vote was unanimous.

<br />City Manager Huffaker referred to a letter dated February 5, 1975, from the City of Sonoma, urging that the City of
<br />Colton join them in support of SB -312, regarding the E.A.A. of 19 74 .

<br />Planning Director Williams referred to his memorandum dated February 11, 1975, regarding request for off-site adver-
<br />tising sign for By -You Bobs Restaurant on Washington Street.
<br />After discussion between Council members and Staff, moved by Councilwoman Spragins, seconded by Councilman
<br />Hayes, to approve request for billboard sign subject to condition that any other business signs shall be installed
<br />on same structure and no other separate sign structures will be permitted. Unanimous vote.
