Mr. Perez continued, if he understands correctly, the City Council is approving the following: <br />Construct a Multi -Service Center in Veterans Park, containing 4,600 square feet, with no reduction in cost for <br />materials: <br />Construct a Community Center building in Municipal Park, containing 6,500 square feet: <br />Demolish existing shower/locker room building and construct a new shower/locker room facility containing approxi- <br />mately 3,000 square feet: <br />Demolish existing swimming pool; retain site plans for new swimming pool and defer construction of new pool until <br />such time as additional funding is available for the completion. <br />Councilman Rehrer asked Mr. de la Cerda if the City is staying within their means on these projects, as had just <br />been outlined by Mr. Perez. <br />Mr. de la Cerda replied as long as the City stays within the figure of $486,000. <br />Mayor Beltran stated the cost figure for Alternate No. 3 is $570,478, however, in reducing this amount by $129,200 <br />for exclusion of the swimming pool, this keeps the City within the limitations. <br />Mr. Perez added that according to his calculations, this would be correct. <br />Upon Council agreement, the Vote on the motion as made and outlined was unanimous. <br />FXFrIITT1/F UlCgTnm <br />The City Council adjourned to Executive Session at 9:20 p. m., to discuss Personnel Matters, and reconvened at 9:30 <br />p. m., all Members present. <br />Community Citizens' Advisory Commission <br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilman Gonzales, to ratify Mayor Beltran's appointment of Mr. Martin <br />Vega to the Community Citizens' Advisory Commission.
