Mayor Beltran asked Councilman <br />Gonzales if the motion had been clarified to his satisfaction. <br />Councilman Gonzales answered yes. <br />Mayor Beltran asked Councilman Gonzales if his motion then stands as it was made. <br />Councilman Gonzales answered yes. <br />Mayor Beltran stated that Councilman Gonzales has moved that the memorandum as submitted to the City Council, with <br />the changes as noted, be adopted. <br />Mayor Beltran asked for a second to the motion. Secretary $ 1,525 <br />Total Additional Cost - Finance $ 19525 <br />Civic Center <br />Automobile $ 75500 <br />Annual Depreciation (Three Years) 29500 <br />Vehicle Operating Expense 15200 <br />Total Additional Cost - Civic Center $115200 <br />TOTAL OF ALL ITEMS LISTED <br />$287238 ($239069) <br />At this point City Manager asked if the motion included adoption of the City Council Budget on Page 13. <br />Moved by Councilman Gonzales to approve the City Council Budget with the $40,000 for Capital Improvements. <br />City Manager Huffaker reported the figures Staff has been using ($40,000) for Capital Improvements are taken from <br />Councilman Gonzales' memorandum dated March 30, 1976. Mr. Huffaker stated he had copies of the memorandum in case <br />any Council member needed a copy even though these have been forwarded to them earlier. Mr. Huffaker continued <br />that normally each expenditure would be itemized, however, this has not been done in this case and he would like <br />Council to be aware that the $40,000 includes furniture. <br />In reviewing the memorandum, Councilman Rehrer asked if the final figure of $35,000 should then be changed to <br />$40,000. <br />Councilman Gonzales stated the $40,000 also included refrigeration units to be placed on the roof of the Civic <br />Center and the basement can then be used for records retention. <br />JUN 22*W6 <br />
