Councilman Hayes felt that by combining both the Police and Fire Safety Employees in one measure would be much more
<br />advantageous and possibly a stronger selling point to the voters, inasmuch as it will be the voters who will decide
<br />the issue. Mr. Hayes said he felt that this was just good, common sense.
<br />Councilman Gonzales stated that he was in agreement with Councilman Hayes.
<br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros, to approve Resolution No. 3629. Motion carried, with
<br />Councilman Rehrer voting NO.

<br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilman Gonzales, to repeal Resolution Nos. 3625, 3626, 3627, and 3628.
<br />Motion carried, with Councilman Rehrer voting NO.
<br />EXECUTIVE SESSION:
<br />The City Council adjourned to Executive Session at 5:46 p. m., to discuss Personnel Matters. The City Council
<br />reconvened at 6:47 p. m., all members present, with the exception of Councilman Hayes.
