4 00" SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING February 9, 1977 A Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was held on the above given date in the Council Chambers in the Civic Center, located at 650, North La Cadena Drive, Colton, California, at 5:00 p. m., Mayor Beltran presiding. Notice of Special Meeting was given on February 8, 1977, in compliance with Government Code Section 54956. Rni I rAl I - Council members present were Hayes, Cisneros, Rehrer, Gonzales, and Mayor Beltran. Also present were City Manager Huffaker, City Attorney Edwards, and City Clerk Ramos. EXECUTIVE SESSION: The City Council adjourned to Executive Session at 5:04 p. m., on Personnel Matters, and reconvened at 5:46 p. m., all members present. Personnel Mayor Beltran stated that the City Council had met in Executive Session for interview and discussion on the possibi- lities of hiring a Finance Director. Mayor Beltran led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. Invocation was offered by Councilman Leroy Rehrer. ROLL CALL: Council members present were Hayes, Cisneros, Rehrer, Gonzales, and Mayor Beltran. Also present were City Manager Huffaker, City Attorney Edwards, and City Clerk Ramos. Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros, ta approve the Consent Calendar. Unanimous vote. Vote was unanimous. Personnel Positions Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilman Gonzales, approving Mayor Beltran's recommendation authorizing Staff to begin recruitment on February 16, 1977, for the position of City Manager for a 45 -day period.
