<br />December 21, 1976 - correction to Page 6, paragraph 2, as follows:
<br />City Attorney Edwards said the alternatives available to you in addition to
<br />reinstatement are to modify the action taken - in other words, what you
<br />could do is to change the discipline from a discharge to a suspension for
<br />a period of time. Now, as I understand it, the employee has been off work
<br />for a period of time. If the present motion is passed, you then get the
<br />question as to whether he is entitled to be paid for the time he has been
<br />Off. If you intend to pay him for the time he has been off, passing the
<br />present motion would be appropriate. If, on the other hand, you feel some
<br />discipline is in order and you would, instead of reinstating him absolutely,
<br />reinstate him but change the discipline to a suspension for a period of time,
<br />he would then not be entitled to pay for the period of time of the suspen-
<br />sion involved.

<br />City Clerk Ramos submitted the Affidavit of Publication and reported that no protests or objections had been re-

<br />Planning Director George Williams stated the zone change application, requested by Louie Aboytes, involves the
<br />change in zoning from M-1, light manufacturing, to M-24, heavy manufacturing, on land located at 150 Fo Street
<br />consisting of approximately 2-1/2 acres. Mr. Williams advised this property is gg '
<br />dismantling yard, which has been operating for several years. p p y presently the site of an auto
<br />Mr. Williams reported that Staff and the Planning Commission recommend approval of the zone change, subject to
<br />seven conditions as outlined in Planning Commission Resolution No. 823.
<br />Mayor Beltran asked if anyone desired to speak on the zone change.
