CONSENT CALENDAR:
Minutes
December 21, 1976 - correction to Page 6, paragraph 2, as follows:
City Attorney Edwards said the alternatives available to you in addition to
reinstatement are to modify the action taken - in other words, what you
could do is to change the discipline from a discharge to a suspension for
a period of time. Now, as I understand it, the employee has been off work
for a period of time. If the present motion is passed, you then get the
question as to whether he is entitled to be paid for the time he has been
Off. If you intend to pay him for the time he has been off, passing the
present motion would be appropriate. If, on the other hand, you feel some
discipline is in order and you would, instead of reinstating him absolutely,
reinstate him but change the discipline to a suspension for a period of time,
he would then not be entitled to pay for the period of time of the suspen-
sion involved.
Warrants
7853 through 8133
8683 through 8839
December 30, 1976s Inclusive
jw Bids
Community Services/Street Division - readvertise for one new medium dut
articulated front-end loader. y'
Budget
Approval of encumbrances for Gas Tax Projects, $55,000.
J '41U
IjARDINANCE NO. 1509 - Approve second reading and adopt Ordinance No. 1509.
