EXECUTIVE SESSION: <br />The City Council adjourned to Executive Session at 8:30 p. m., to discuss Personnel and Litigation matters, and <br />reconvened at 9:27 p. m., all Members present. <br />Dcrcnnnal <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Hayes, to approve Resolution No. 3701. Vote was unanimous. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 3701 - RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON AMENDING <br />THE 1976-77 FISCAL YEAR BUDGET. <br />Litigation <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilman Gonzales, approving and authorizing settlement in the amount of <br />$156,000, to be paid to Norman S. Fink Engineering Company, Inc. Vote was unanimous. <br />ADJOURNMENT: <br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros and unanimously passed, Mayor Beltran adjourned the <br />meeting at 9:30 p. m. <br />Approved this 5th day of July, 1977. <br />HELEN A. RAMOS <br />City Clerk <br />City of Colton <br />COUNCIL MEETING <br />July 5, 1977 <br />A regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was held on the above given date at 7:30 p.m., in the <br />Council Chambers of City Hall, Mayor Beltran presiding. <br />Mayor Beltran led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />Invocation was offered by Councilman Leroy Rehrer. <br />Rni i rni i <br />Council members present were Hayes, Cisneros, Rehrer, Gonzales*, and Mayor Beltran. Also present were City Manager <br />Calabrese, City Attorney Edwards, and City Clerk Ramos. *Councilman Gonzales entered the Council Chambers at <br />7:40 p.m. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR: <br />Mi niitac <br />June 21, 1977 <br />Warrants <br />11133 & 11394 through 11667 <br />10994 through 11142 <br />July 1, 1977, inclusive <br />Notice of Completion <br />Wood and Associates - Weed Abatement Program. (Approve and authorize recording) <br />Resolution No. 3699 <br />Amending 76/77 Budget (Account Transfers). (Rescind) <br />Ordinances <br />Full reading of ordinances on Agenda waived. <br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros, to approve the Consent Calendar. Vote was unanimous. <br />MAYOR'S REPORTS AND PROCLAMATIONS: <br />Proclamation - Sudden Infant Death Syndrome Awareness Week, July 25 - 315 1977. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br />Demolition <br />Property at 443 South 5th Street <br />Mayor Beltran declared the Public Hearing open. <br />City Clerk Ramos submitted the Affidavit of Publication and reported that no protests had been received. <br />City Attorney Edwards reported from the Building Official's memorandum, dated June 14, 1977, stating that the <br />demolition had been accomplished, that the total sum paid to the demolition contractor by the City was $390.00, <br />and that it would now be in order to adopt Resolution No. 3705 assessing the cost of $390.00 against the property. <br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros, to close the public hearing. Unanimous vote. <br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to adopt Resolution No. 3705. Unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 3705 - RESOLUTION APPROVING AND CONFIRMING REPORT OF COLTON BUILDING <br />OFFICIAL FILED PURSUANT TO SECTION 1601 OF THE UNIFORM HOUSING <br />CODE, ORDINANCE NO. 14495 OF THE CITY OF COLTON, AND THE <br />ASSESSMENTS OF CHARGES AGAINST REAL PROPERTY IN ACCORDANCE <br />THEREWITH. <br />JUL 51977. <br />
