42H Mr. Mitchell referred to a map, outlining the boundaries of a proposed service area for Grand Terrace, to be submitted to the L.A.F.C. for consideration. Moved by Commissioner Rios, seconded by Commissioner Face, to recommend for approval to the City Council the proposed Service Area for Grand Terrace as outlined by Staff. Motion carried. Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilman Gonzales, approving recommendation of proposed Service Area for Grand Terrace as outlined, to be presented to the Local Agency Formation Commission. Vote was unanimous. EXECUTIVE SESSION: The City Council adjourned to Executive Session on the request of Councilman Hayes, to discuss Personnel Matters, at 8:16 p. m., and reconvened at 9:31 p. m., all Members present. Mayor Pro -Tem Gonzales led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. Invocation was offered by the Reverend David R. Pasamonte of the United Methodist Church of Colton. ROLL CALL: Council members present were Hayes, Cisneros, Rehrer, and Mayor Pro -Tem Gonzales. Also present were Acting City Manager Johnsen, City Attorney Edwards, and City Clerk Ramos. Absent was Mayor Beltran. MAYOR'S REPORTS AND PROCLAMATIONS: Resolution of Commendation Acting City Manager Johnsen read in full a Resolution of Commendation on behalf of high school students Kenneth Hussing, Dolores Sanchez, Cutis Van Hulla and Linda Johnsen, acknowledging their outstanding grades and achievements attained at school. Mr. Robert L. Blaikie, representing the San Bernardino B.P.O. Elks Lodge No. 836, presented the students with Resolutions from the County Board of Supervisors, honoring their scholastic achievements. Agreements Dial -A -Ride Amendment Acting City Manager Johnsen read a memorandum from Mayor Beltran regarding consideration of an amendment to the Agreement between the City of Colton and Yellow Checker Leasing, Inc., for an extension of Dial -A -Ride service to include Sunday operations, at no additional cost to the City. Councilman Rehrer felt that the amendment to the Agreement should be studied further before taking any action. Mr. Johnsen also requested that Staff be authorized to pay February and March billings as submitted by Yellow Checker Leasing, Inc., for Dial -A -Ride services. MAY. 2 1977
