42H <br />Mr. Mitchell referred to a map, outlining the boundaries of a proposed service area for Grand Terrace, to be submitted <br />to the L.A.F.C. for consideration. <br />Moved by Commissioner Rios, seconded by Commissioner Face, to recommend for approval to the City Council the <br />proposed Service Area for Grand Terrace as outlined by Staff. Motion carried. <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilman Gonzales, approving recommendation of proposed Service Area <br />for Grand Terrace as outlined, to be presented to the Local Agency Formation Commission. Pasamonte of the United Methodist Church of Colton. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />Council members present were Hayes, Cisneros, Rehrer, and Mayor Pro -Tem Gonzales. Also present were Acting City <br />Manager Johnsen, City Attorney Edwards, and City Clerk Ramos. Vote was unanimous. <br />MAYOR'S REPORTS AND PROCLAMATIONS: <br />Resolution of Commendation <br />Acting City Manager Johnsen read in full a Resolution of Commendation on behalf of high school students Kenneth <br />Hussing, Dolores Sanchez, Cutis Van Hulla and Linda Johnsen, acknowledging their outstanding grades and achievements <br />attained at school. <br />Mr. Robert L. Blaikie, representing the San Bernardino B.P.O. Elks Lodge No. 836, presented the students with <br />Resolutions from the County Board of Supervisors, honoring their scholastic achievements. <br />Agreements <br />Dial -A -Ride Amendment <br />Acting City Manager Johnsen read a memorandum from Mayor Beltran regarding consideration of an amendment to <br />the Agreement between the City of Colton and Yellow Checker Leasing, Inc., for an extension of Dial -A -Ride <br />service to include Sunday operations, at no additional cost to the City. <br />Councilman Rehrer felt that the amendment to the Agreement should be studied further before taking any action. <br />Mr. Johnsen also requested that Staff be authorized to pay February and March billings as submitted by Yellow <br />Checker Leasing, Inc., for Dial -A -Ride services. <br />MAY. 2 1977 <br />
