Moved by Mayor Gonzales, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros, to reconsider Ordi- <br />nance No. 1539, and to set the hearing for Ordinance No. 1539 on Wednesday, <br />July 5, 1978. Motion carried, with Councilman Rehrer voting NO. <br />Agreements <br />City Attorney Edwards referred to a memorandum dated June 16, 1978, regarding an <br />amendment to the Cost Sharing Agreement between the Cities of Anaheim, Azusa, <br />Banning, Colton and Riverside, concerning -the anti-trust suit against Southern <br />California Edison Company, and the City of Anaheim's request to amend Paragraph <br />3, on Page 3, of the Agreement. <br />Mr. Edwards advised that the other cities involved -have approved the change as <br />requested, and Staff would also recommend approval of the amendment to the Agree- <br />ment. <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded -by Councilwoman Cisneros, approving amend- <br />ment to Cost Sharing Agreement in the lawsuit against Southern California Edison <br />Company, and authorizing Mayor to execute same. Unanimous vote. <br />Air Pollution <br />0) City Attorney Edwards read an informational memorandum dated June 12, 1978, <br />Co from Bob Trimble, Fire Operations Officer, regarding meetings and inspections <br />of the Kelley Grain & Milling Company. <br />Mr. Frank Smith, 270 West F Street, stated he was still not satisfied with the <br />operation at the Mill, and felt it was about time the City did something about <br />Q the situation. <br />A0J011RNMFNT- <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros and unanimously <br />passed, Mayor Gonzales adjourned the meeting at 8:52 p. m., to meet for an <br />Adjourned.Regular Meeting on Monday, June 26, 1978, at 7:00 p. m., in the Council <br />Chambers of City Hall. <br />HELEN A. RAMOS <br />City Clerk <br />City of Colton <br />Approved this 5th day of July, 1978. <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br />ADJOURNED COUNCIL MEETING <br />June 26, 1978 <br />In accordance with notice duly and legally given, an Adjourned Regular Meeting <br />of the City Council of the City of Colton was held on the above given date at <br />7:00 p. m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, Mayor Gonzales presiding. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />Council members present were Hayes, Cisneros, Rehrer, and Mayor Gonzales. Also <br />present were City Manager Calabrese, City Attorney Edwards, and City Clerk Ramos. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br />Revenue Sharing FY 1978-79 <br />Mayor Gonzales announced this was the time and place fixed for public hearing to <br />consider the proposed use of Revenue Sharing Funds for fiscal year 1978-79. <br />Mayor Gonzales opened the public hearing. <br />City Manager Calabrese submitted the Affidavit of Publication. <br />City Manager Calabrese gave the staff presentation stating that the Administrative <br />Public Hearing was held on May 22, 1978, with two people present, one representa- <br />tive the Police Department, the other the Fire Department. Mr. Calabrese indicated <br />there would be a total of approximately $502,000 in revenue sharing funds for the <br />period of July 1, 1978, through June 30, 1979.
