29 <br />Councilman Rehrer stated if this is Council consensus, he will withdraw his motion. <br />Councilman Hayes stated he wi-11 withdraw his second to the motion. <br />On Council consensus, this matter was referred back to Staff. <br />COMMUNITY SERVICES DIRECTOR'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Assessment Files <br />Assessment District No. 76-1 <br />Community Services Director Earl Young advised that due to certain land divisions <br />within Assessment District No. 76-1, the assessment rolls and assessment maps need <br />to be amended. <br />Mr. Young referred to a resolution establishing fees to accomplish this, a fee of <br />$240 if accompanied with an application for the land division, and a fee of $250 <br />if no application is filed. Mr. Young requested approval of the proposed resolution. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to approve Resolution <br />No. 3844. Unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 3844 - RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL ESTABLISHING A FEE FOR PRO - <br />(J) CESSING LAND AND ASSESSMENT DIVISION APPLICATIONS PURSUANT <br />(Y) TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE "IMPROVEMENT BOND ACT OF 1915"13 <br />BEING DIVISION 10 OF THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA. <br />Hermosa Cemetery <br />G'( Cemetery Commission <br />Mr. Young presented a resolution to the Council Members for their consideration <br />and approval establishing a schedule of rates for Cemetery services, which the <br />Cemetery Commission has reviewed and recommended for adoption. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Hayes, to approve Resolu- <br />tion No. 3845. Vote was unanimous. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 3845 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON ES- <br />TABLISHING SCHEDULE OF RATES FOR CEMETERY SERVICES. <br />Traffic Control Files <br />Speed Limits <br />Mr. Young reported that as part of the continued speed zone survey conducted by <br />the Automobile Club of Southern California, and in cooperation with the Police <br />Department, Staff recommends that Pennsylvania Avenue, from Valley Boulevard to <br />Mill Street, be posted 35 mph. <br />Mr. Young requested approval of Ordinance No. 1547, an emergency ordinance, to <br />accomplish the necessary posting. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Hayes, to waive further <br />reading and adopt Ordinance No. 1547. Vote was unanimous. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1547 - AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1074, AND CHAPTER 10.04, <br />SECTION 10.04.130, 16.a, ARTICLE XV OF THE COLTON MUNICIPAL <br />CODE, REGULATING THE USE OF TRAFFIC UPON THE STREETS, SIDE- <br />WALKS AND OTHER PRIVATE PLACES IN THE CITY OF COLTON. <br />Parking Control Files <br />Mr. Young advised that after field review and study, Staff is recommending the <br />posting of "No Parking" signs on the south side of Barton Road, between Terrace <br />Avenue and the Southern Pacific Railroad, and on both sides of Rancho Avenue, <br />between Georgia Street and La Cadena Drive, as outlined in Resolution No. 3846. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Hayes, to approve Resolution <br />No. 3846.
